Civil servant Hanson Mao, 35, was able to snap these pictures of people using the bridge for the first time.Glass-bottomed walkway bridges are now all the rage in China, withmore and more tourism sites constructing thrilling glass bridges to attract visitors.A new 590-foot-high glass-bottomed suspension bridge was openedin September in Yuntai Mountain of north China’s Hebei Province.

A viewing platform in Chongqing of southwest China, with a breath-taking 718-meter drop to the ground below, was completed earlier this year and became the world's longest cantilever walkway with a glass bottom.
